Memory Monday: Lake George NY

My first time in Lake George NY was a fun four day getaway with my youngest son and my sister-in-law and her son. We had a blast river rafting, hiking, zip lining, and shopping, laughing and enjoying ourselves on Canada Street in Lake George Village. The Village is located on the southern end of Lake George, known as “The Queen of American Lakes”. The lake itself is quite large, stretching over 32 miles in length and varying from 1 to 3 miles in width. There are many quaint towns and breathtaking vistas all along its banks and the surrounding Adirondack Mountains. It’s a beautiful place to visit and there’s lots to do!

Having fun on the zip lines and adventure course at Adirondack Extreme, exploring one of the many nature trails and a river rafting experience. Yes we did hit several rapids and we did GET WET!!

We thought these two stores across the street from each other had such catchy names and were so fun to browse! The boys skedaddled elsewhere while we had our girl fun 🙂

Enjoying iced coffees on a beautiful day before hitting the road for home.
